An inclusive primary school in Sudbury Hill, Harrow is seeking a committed and resilient SEND Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil who presents challenging behaviours. This is a full time, long term role starting as soon as possible.

You will provide dedicated support to a pupil with special educational needs, working flexibly and confidently to build positive relationships, manage behaviours and enable access to learning in a structured environment. You’ll be working closely with the class teacher, SENCo and support staff to adapt resources, scaffold learning, monitor progress and promote social, emotional and academic development.

The successful candidate will have previous experience supporting children with SEND, strong behaviour management skills, patience and resilience. You must be able to remain calm, consistent and proactive under pressure, and thrive in a role where every day matters.
