Primary Teaching Assistant - Kensington

Are you a nurturing and resilient Teaching Assistant who believes in inclusion and equality for all children?

A welcoming primary school in the heart of Kensington, just a short walk from Kensington High Street, is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP. This is a full-time role supporting both Year 1 and Year 4 classes, with a particular focus on children with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.

The successful candidate will work as a General TA across both year groups, providing targeted support to pupils with SEMH and behavioural challenges particularly in a Year 4 class that requires additional adult presence to maintain a calm and productive learning environment. The role includes working closely with the class teacher, a 1:1 TA, and other staff to build consistency, positive relationships, and emotional regulation strategies with the children.
