Ethos Education have an opportunity for a Maths teacher looking to step into a SEMH school.
This specialist alternative school for pupils with complex, mental health & SEND provision opened in 2003. Located next to a secondary school in Harlow, this school pools resources, best practice & lesson plans.
If you are a Maths QTS or ECT teacher, who is wanting to work in a creative & nurturing way, we would welcome your application. This Maths teaching post is working in a very small specialist school (only 64 on roll & 15 in residential quarters) so you will really get to know these children individually.
As a Maths teacher, you will be well supported by friendly & creative leadership, the opportunity to put your stamp on hands on Maths lessons & expert Teaching Assistants. You will be backed by Speech Therapists, Counsellors, OT's & more specialist services.
This is not a "cookie cutter" Maths teaching post, starting asap, ongoing, temporary & based in Essex.
As a Maths teacher we are seeking a relentless drive for success, celebrate achievement and promote a climate of possibility. Maths teachers will need to reflect a commitment to pupils' academic, physical, social, vocational and emotional progress in your lessons and outlook to SEND teaching.
