SEN Teaching Assistant – SEMH Focus – Hillingdon Area

Full time. Long term temporary role. Primary school. Immediate start.

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Hillingdon area is seeking a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

You will be working closely with children across Key Stage 2 who benefit from strong, consistent adult relationships. This role requires someone confident, calm and experienced in supporting children with additional needs in a school setting.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience working with SEND pupils, especially SEMH

  • Strong communication skills. Clear, firm and supportive

  • Ability to build positive relationships with children and staff

  • Full time availability for a long term placement

  • A proactive and caring approach to behaviour and inclusion
