New Malden: Nursery Practitioner positions available!  

Are you a Nursery Practitioner looking to start a new role in a supportive nursery where you will be recognised for your hard work?

This welcoming and diverse nursery is located in the heart of New Malden and is looking for a Level 3 (or above) qualified Nursery Practitioner to join the friendly team of staff. This nursery aims to provide a happy, safe and stimulating environment for every child and is a great place to work for anyone who is truly passionate about childcare and early years education.

Working as part of a team, you will be supported by a caring senior leadership team who bring a wealth of experience to the nursery, having all worked in a variety of different settings and bringing ideas to improve the nursery and enhance each child's development. A relevant qualification (minimum Level 3) in Early Years or Childcare is essential and previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting would be desirable for this Nursery Practitioner role.  

As a Nursery Practitioner, some of your duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): 

  • Keeping records of your key children's development and learning journeys
  • Liaising with and support parents/family members, maintaining strong partnerships and communications
  • Washing and changing children as required
  • Ensuring good standards of safety, hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times
  • Encouraging development through play and exploration
  • Preparing and completing activities to suit each individual child's stage of development and interests
  • Following the nursery safeguarding procedure
  • Working as a team and supporting other staff 

This is a permanent Nursery Practitioner role, with an immediate start if possible, to work 37 hours a week, with a salary from £25k-£28k per annum.
