Job Description

Early Years job opportunity in East London

We are looking for a passionate Early Years Practitioner to join the team at this welcoming and diverse nursery in Isle of Dogs, with an ASAP start!

If you're looking to further your early years career, this is a great place to work - with further training funded by the nursery, and plenty of opportunities for career progression (to roles such as Room Lead), as an Early Years Practitioner you will grow and learn every day.

This nursery also offers excellent benefits, which include:
  • Bonuses paid throughout the year
  • Great holiday scheme, with an extra day added for each year of service
  • Supportive management
  • Focus on staff wellbeing
  • Career development
  • Team building and social events
  • Cycle to work scheme and free parking
  • Regular pay rises and a competitive salary
  • Free lunches
  • Discounted childcare
Good knowledge of EYFS and the Early Years Framework is important as you will be following this when you plan and lead activities, supporting early reading and early maths skills development. Experience working within a nursery or in a childcare setting and a relevant Early Years or Childcare qualification are essential for this Early Years Practitioner position. This is a permanent position to work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday.

Conveniently located in Isle of Dogs, this nursery is easy to reach thanks to excellent transport links and staff parking, and is in a lovely location close to the river!
