As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be:  

• Providing a fun, engaging and safe environment for the children  
• Following the EYFS curriculum to plan lessons and activities that are engaging and stimulating for children's imagination 
• Communicating effectively with other team members and parents  
• Assisting children with development of early reading, literacy and early maths skills    
• Encouraging development through play, exploration and child-led learning 
• Providing general care and support for children in the nursery  
• Observing and assessing children’s progress  
• Helping with feeding and personal care

For this Early Years Practitioner role, a Level 2/3 or above qualification in Early Years or Childcare is essential, and prior experience working with children under 5 within a nursery or childcare setting is preferred.
