North London - Teaching Assistant role - Start after Easter

Primary Teaching Assistant role now available to start ASAP (after the Easter break) at a welcoming and diverse primary school located in Hornsey, North London. 

Part of the support team, as a Teaching Assistant your responsibilities will include: 

• Delivering learning interventions to small groups or on a 1:1 basis
• Providing a supportive and positive learning environment where students can thrive personally and academically
• Assisting with the delivery of an exciting and balanced curriculum
• Supporting children with SEND within the classroom and in smaller groups where necessary
• Encouraging development of vocabulary through speech, reading and writing activities
• Helping children to develop their confidence and ensuring they feel valued within an inclusive learning environment

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely and collaboratively with a team of passionate staff to ensure every child's needs are met. This is a full time and ongoing position to last until the end of the academic year, with the chance for it to become permanent in the future too. The school also cares about career development and there will be opportunities for progression and further training.
