As a Primary SEND TA, you’ll be supporting children with SEND so that they can access the full curriculum, helping them regulate their emotions and building rapport with them. Some of the children you are supporting will be non-verbal and you will get the opportunity to assist in Speech & Language sessions, so this SEND Teaching Assistant role will be great for your career development as well. You may also be supporting with the delivery of small group interventions.
Working as a Primary SEND Teaching Assistant full time, you'll be able to see the progress and development your key children make across the school year, as this is a long-term role to last until the end of the academic year.
