You can start making a difference to children's lives by working as a Learning Support Assistant in an inclusive and positive primary school in Plumstead!   

Joining a team of friendly and committed support staff as an LSA, you will be: 

• Supporting children with SEND to reach their full potential and access the full curriculum 
• Assisting with the delivery of a number of intervention programmes, monitoring progress and providing feedback to teaching staff and senior leaders 
• Supporting key children to help them reach the targets on their EHCPs and/or IEPs
• Building a rapport with children and helping them to regulate their emotions  
• Ensuring a safe, supportive and positive learning environment where each child is able to thrive and feels inspired and encouraged 
• Providing support for children who need help with communication, language and literacy    
• Supporting non-verbal children with Speech and Language activities   

This is a full-time and ongoing Learning Support Assistant role, expected to last until the end of the academic year in July, giving you the chance to see how your key children progress and develop over the entire school year. There is also the possibility for the role to become permanent in the future for the suitable LSA, as well as career progression opportunities.
