Job Description

Primary Teaching Assistant role now available for immediate start at a vibrant and inclusive primary school located in Richmond, SW London.  

Joining the support staff team as a Teaching Assistant, you will be:    

• Delivering learning interventions to small groups 
• Creating a learning environment that is supportive and positive and allows students to thrive both personally and academically 
• Supporting children with SEND within the classroom 
• Assisting with the delivery of a creative and balanced curriculum to children across the key stages
• Encouraging development of vocabulary through speech, reading and writing 
• Building rapport with students 
• Helping to develop children's confidence and ensuring they feel valued within an inclusive learning environment 
• Able to work Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:45pm  

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be joining a team of passionate staff who work collaboratively to ensure the school best meets the needs of every child, so each child is engaged and motivated to have an enthusiasm for learning. This diverse primary school in the London Borough of Richmond has a real community feel and expects the best from staff and pupils alike. 
 
This is a full-time Primary Teaching Assistant position to last long-term until the end of the academic year in July, and there could be the possibility to go permanent in the future too.
