Wonderful family run nursery in East Ham currently seeking a passionate Nursery Practitioner to join the friendly and welcoming team ASAP!

This nursery has a strong emphasis on helping all children to reach their full potential and prepare them for their future, and as a Nursery Practitioner, you will be providing high quality childcare within a secure and positive environment where every child is able to fully participate in all of the activities.

Some of your responsibilities will include:   

• Assisting children with their early reading and literacy and early maths skills development  
• Providing an environment that is language rich and supportive  
• Using your knowledge of early childhood development and EYFS to plan activities
• Supporting personal, social and emotional development  
• Leading and encouraging interactive play and learning sessions, including child-led learning 
• Helping children build on their social skills, confidence and to form positive relationships from a young age 
• Assisting with feeding and personal care

A minimum of a Level 2 or 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification is essential and previous experience in a nursery setting is preferred for this Nursery Practitioner position.
