Excellent opportunity for a passionate and committed Primary Teaching Assistant is now available at a diverse and friendly primary school in Lewisham. Positions are available across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. 

Working full time as a Primary Teaching Assistant, your days will be spent supporting children while they learn a creative and stimulating curriculum, ensuring each child is able to complete their school work to the best of their abilities and assisting them when needed. You may also be providing support for children with SEND within the classroom where necessary. 

You will be planning and delivering learning interventions to small groups or on a 1:1 basis, monitoring their progress and liaising with the class teachers to provide feedback. GCSEs in Maths and English would be desired for this Primary Teaching Assistant position.

As this is a long-term Teaching Assistant position to last until the end of the academic year in July, you'll be able to build great rapport with the children and staff, and see any progress made by the children you support across the year.
