Enfield: SEND Teaching Assistant needed now!  
     
A successful and inclusive primary school in Enfield is currently looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join the support staff team, with an immediate start.  
 
You will be joining a friendly and dedicated team of staff within a supportive working environment, where everyone works collaboratively to build and provide a safe, encouraging and positive learning environment in which each child is supported and can thrive academically, personally and socially.   

Working full time as a SEND TA, you will be:     

• Supporting children with SEND, within the classroom and in smaller groups/1:1 where necessary, ensuring they are able to access the full curriculum   
• Planning and delivering learning interventions to students 1:1 or in small groups, and monitoring their progress  
• Providing support for non-verbal children with Speech & Language activities   
• Working closely with key children who have EHCPs and/or IEPs to support and help them reach the targets and objectives they have been set  
• Supporting children across EYFS, KS1 and KS2   

As this is a long-term SEND Teaching Assistant position due to last until the end of the academic year in July, you will have the chance to see the progress and growth made by your key children across the entire school year. You will be an integral part of the school community, and there is the potential for this to become a permanent position in the future too. 
     
Prior experience in a childcare setting would be preferred for this SEND Teaching Assistant position.
