West London - Learning Support Assistant position with immediate start

Joining a team of likeminded staff as a LSA, you will be working full-time and making a real impact to children's lives and development. As a Learning Support Assistant you should have a real passion for what you do and bring a positive attitude every day! 

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be:     

• Assisting children with reading and spelling 
• Supporting children with SEND so they can access the entire curriculum and reach their full potential
• Delivering a range of interventions to small groups or on a 1:1 basis 
• Monitoring key children's progress with their individual work and any group work they're a part of 
• Providing support for children who need help with communication, language and literacy     
• Creating a supportive and positive learning environment where every child is encouraged and is able to thrive   
• Supporting non-verbal children through Speech and Language activities   
• Working closely with the class teachers and senior leaders  
• Supporting key children to help them reach the targets on their EHCPs and/or Individual Support Plans

This is a long-term Learning Support Assistant role to last until the end of the academic year in July at least, and there is the potential for it to become permanent thereafter.   
   
As you would be working with your key children across the school year, you will really get to see how they progress and develop as a result of your support - you will leave every day knowing you've made a real difference.
