Early Childhood Educator position now available at a diverse and bright nursery in Leytonstone to join the dedicated team of staff and to start as soon as possible!

This is a permanent full time Early Childhood Educator role to work 40 hours a week (Monday-Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm) in an outstanding Leytonstone nursery where every member of staff is supported and valued, as shown through the bonuses paid throughout the year.

A relevant Level 2 or 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification is essential and previous experience in a nursery setting is preferred for this Early Childhood Educator position.   

As a Qualified Early Childhood Educator, you will:      

• Assist children with their early reading and literacy and early maths skills development  
• Provide an environment that is language rich and and supportive  
• Have good knowledge of early childhood development and the EYFS framework
• Lead and encourage interactive play and learning sessions
• Support children's personal, social and emotional development  
• Encourage child led activities that are stimulating for their imagination and creativity  
• Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and support the nursery management team 
• Carry out risk assessments throughout the day
