This supportive and diverse Chingford primary school has the perfect role for you! We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join the passionate and hardworking team to start ASAP.

Working full time (Monday-Friday) as an LSA, you will be:  

• Leading/assisting with the delivery of different learning intervention programmes and monitoring the progress of children
• Supporting key children to help them reach the targets on their EHCPs and/or IEPs
• Ensuring a safe, supportive and positive learning environment where each child is encouraged and able to thrive 
• Liaising with and giving feedback to teaching staff and senior leaders  
• Supporting students with SEND on a 1:1 or 1:2 basis or in small groups where necessary  
• Providing support for non-verbal children with Speech and Language activities     

As this Learning Support Assistant role is long term and expected to last until the end of the academic year, you will have the chance to watch your key children progress and develop across the school year, seeing first hand how your support and hard work has made a difference. There is also the possibility for the role to become permanent in the future for the suitable LSA, as well as opportunities for career progression.
