South London School Looking for SEND TA

Long-term full-time SEND Teaching Assistant position available to start immediately at a vibrant and diverse primary school located in Upper Norwood, South London. 
 
With great transport links and local parking, this school is very easily accessed and is great for any SEND Teaching Assistant! It's a lovely school with great facilities and a supportive senior leadership team who will be encouraging with any further training opportunities and career development.

As a SEND TA, you will be supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities by leading small groups and 1:1 sessions, delivering learning interventions and monitoring key children's progress. Other duties would include providing support for non-verbal children through suitable Speech and Language activities and supporting key children to reach targets and objectives on their EHCPs and/or IEPs.  
 
Joining a friendly and hardworking team of support staff at this primary school in Upper Norwood, you will be working collaboratively as a committed member of staff to deliver a diverse and exciting curriculum, ensuring every child is able to reach their full potential.  
 
As this is a long-term SEND Teaching Assistant role expected to last until the end of the school year in July, you will be able to see the progress made by your key children across the year thanks to your hard work and support. There is also opportunities for further career progression and the chance for the role to become permanent in the future!
