Early Years Practitioner - Newham, East London  
   
Make a difference to children's development from a young age as an Early Years Practitioner in an inclusive and vibrant nursery located in Newham.   
   
Working Monday-Friday, the suitable Early Years Practitioner should hold a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years, and previous experience working in a childcare setting would be desirable.  
 
This is a nursery with excellent resources, including a private garden and a sensory room, as well as regular days out to extend children's learning and stimulate their imagination. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be:      

  • Following the EYFS curriculum to assist children with the development of early reading and early maths skills   
  • Supporting children with their personal, social and emotional development     
  • Using your knowledge of early childhood development and will have excellent understanding of EYFS 
  • Providing a safe, supportive, stimulating and language-rich environment for children  
  • Encouraging development through play and exploration, leading and assisting with activities that stimulate children's imagination and creativity  
  • Supporting and assisting with early reading, vocabulary, literacy and communication development   
  • Assisting with the development of early maths skills, following the Early Years Framework Establishing positive relationships with children and their families  
  • Able to work collaboratively within a team and have strong communication and interpersonal skills 

This is a permanent position to start ASAP, and is very rewarding as you'll be making a real difference to a child's early development. Salary from £24k-£27k per annum, and the role is 40 hours per week but can be flexible.
