Catford: Teaching Assistant role to start ASAP 
 
Kick off the new half term with a new Teaching Assistant role! This inclusive and welcoming primary school in Catford is now looking for a Primary Teaching Assistant to join the hardworking and dedicated support staff team with an immediate start. 
 
Supporting children across the key stages as a Teaching Assistant, you will be:     

• Delivering learning interventions to small groups or on a 1:1 basis where necessary 
• Supporting children with SEND within the classroom 
• Creating a learning environment that is supportive and positive and allows students to thrive both personally and academically  
• Assisting with the delivery of a creative, balanced and engaging curriculum 
• Encouraging development of vocabulary through speech, reading and writing  
• Helping to develop children's confidence and ensuring they feel valued   
• Providing assistance and guidance when needed to ensure each child can complete their work to the best of their abilities

As a Teaching Assistant you will work closely with the other passionate support staff and class teachers to ensure the school best meets the needs of every child and that each child is motivated to develop a real love for learning. Working full time Monday-Friday, this is a long term position to last long-term until the end of the academic year in July, and there could be the possibility to go permanent in the future too.  
 
Located in Catford, SE London, this school is easily accessed by public transport and there is also parking available.
