EYFS Teaching Assistant - Islington - Immediate start

Are you a patient and caring individual who has a passion for working with children in Early Years?

This supportive and successful primary school in Islington is now looking for an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join the friendly and welcoming team, with an immediate start! 

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will be:   

• Assisting with early reading, literacy and early maths skills development   
• Supporting children on a 1:1 or small group basis
• Helping children to build on their social skills and develop positive relationships  
• Encouraging development through play and exploration, including guided free play
• Creating a language rich environment   
• Providing support for children with SEND in the reception classroom  
• Supporting children's personal, social and emotional development  
• Enabling children to develop their confidence and giving them opportunities to speak and listen in a range of situations
• Providing opportunities for young children to be active and to develop their coordination, control and movement, supporting and assisting where needed

You will be working full-time as an EYFS TA in a school that celebrates diversity and individuality, and places children at the centre of learning and aims for each child to develop a love of learning and skills for life. Joining a team of dedicated staff, you will be part of a school community where everyone works together to support the aspirations of the school and build a safe and supportive learning and working environment
   
This Early Years Teaching Assistant role is to start ASAP and to last until the end of the academic year in July, with the possibility to become permanent beyond that. Located in Islington, there are plenty of transport links to this school making it easy to reach.
