Deptford - Learning Support Assistant to start ASAP

Joining a team of likeminded staff as a LSA, you would be working full-time and making a real impact to children's lives and development.     

As a Learning Support Assistant, your responsibilities will include:    

• Planning and delivering a number of intervention programmes to children either 1:1 or in small groups, monitoring progress and providing feedback to teaching staff and senior leaders  
• Providing support for children who need help with communication, language and literacy    
• Supporting children with SEND so they can access the entire curriculum and reach their full potential, within the classroom as well as on a 1:1 or 1:2 basis
• Ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment where every child feels included and encouraged
• Providing support for non-verbal children through Speech and Language activities  
• Supporting key children to help them reach the targets on their EHCPs and/or IEPs

This is a long-term Learning Support Assistant role to last until the end of the academic year in July at least, and there is the potential for it to become permanent thereafter.
