Level 3 Early Years Practitioner role - Available in Blackheath

A rewarding Early Years Practitioner position is now available at a happy and nurturing nursery in South East London. 
 
Located in the heart of Blackheath, London Borough of Lewisham, this nursery has plenty of transport links, as well as parking available. A relevant Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years or Childcare is essential for this role and prior experience working in a nursery or with children under 5 is desirable for the suitable Early Years Practitioner. 
     
Working full-time (Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm) as a Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner, you will be:       

• Following the Early Years Framework and EYFS curriculum to assist with early reading and early maths skills development 
• Highly knowledgeable of early childhood development
• Encouraging development through play, exploration and child-led learning
• Supporting children with their personal, social and emotional development     
• Building a supportive, stimulating and language-rich environment within the nursery 
• Leading activities that stimulate children's imagination and creativity  
• Planning and delivering creative lessons that are fun and based on the Early Years curriculum 
• Forming and maintaining positive relationships with children and their families
• Working collaboratively with a team of likeminded and dedicated staff

This is a permanent position to start ASAP, and is very rewarding as you'll be making a real difference to children's early development. Salary would be from £25k-£27k per annum, and the role is 40 hours per week but can be flexible.
