Opportunity for a Teaching Assistant in North West London 
 
This supportive and inclusive primary school in Camden is now looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join the team of friendly support staff, with an immediate start. Positions available to support children across the key stages.  

As a SEND Teaching Assistant you will:    

• Support children with SEND (within the classroom and in smaller groups/1:1 where necessary) so they are able to access the full curriculum 
• Deliver specific learning interventions, both 1:1 and in small group sessions, and monitor key children's progress to help plan for future sessions
• Support non-verbal children with Speech & Language activities 
• Provide a safe, encouraging and positive learning environment where every child feels supported and is able to thrive academically, personally and socially 
• Be willing to work with children of all abilities across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 
• Support key children to reach the targets and objectives on their EHCPs and/or Individual Education Plans
• Work Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:45pm   

This SEND TA role is to work long term until the end of the academic year in July, allowing you to be part of the school community, as well as being able to see the progress your key children make across the school year as a result of your help.

There is also the possibility for the position to become permanent in the future for the suitable SEND Teaching Assistant. You would be joining a welcoming and dedicated team of staff in a very supportive work environment. Located in Camden, this school is very easy to reach via public transport as there are local bus stops and tube stations!
 
Maths and English GCSEs and prior experience in a childcare setting would be desirable for this SEND Teaching Assistant position.
