Brent - Learning Support Assistant to start ASAP!
 
Are you a Learning Support Assistant looking to start a new role in a vibrant primary school? Do you want to make a difference to children's lives on a daily basis? Then this is the perfect opportunity for you! 

This welcoming and diverse school in the Borough of Brent is looking for a dedicated LSA to join the team of likeminded and hardworking support staff to work full-time supporting children within the classroom.

As a Learning Support Assistant your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:    

• Delivering specific interventions and monitoring children's progress, both 1:1 and in small groups    
• Providing support for children who need assistance with communication, language and literacy    
• Supporting children with SEND so they are able to access the entire curriculum and reach their full potential 
• Creating a supportive and positive learning environment where every child is encouraged and is able to thrive  
• Supporting non-verbal children with Speech and Language activities  
• Working closely with the class teachers and senior leaders 
• Helping key children to reach the targets on their EHCPs  
• Working full time: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:45pm    

This is a long-term Learning Support Assistant role to last until the end of the academic year in July at least, and there is the potential for it to become permanent thereafter.  
 
As you would be working with your key children across the school year, you will really get to see how they progress and develop as a result of your support - you will leave every day knowing you're having a real impact.
