Greenwich - Learning Support Assistant role - Immediate start

Learning Support Assistant role now available to start ASAP at this friendly and inclusive primary school located in Greenwich, SE London. 

Joining the support staff team as a Learning Support Assistant, you will be: 

• Delivering learning interventions to small groups or on a 1:1 basis, monitoring progress and providing feedback to teaching staff and senior leaders
• Providing a supportive and positive learning environment where students can thrive personally and academically
• Assisting with the delivery of an exciting and balanced curriculum
• Supporting children with SEND within the classroom
• Encouraging development of vocabulary through speech, reading and writing activities
• Helping children to develop their confidence and ensuring they feel valued within an inclusive learning environment
• Supporting key children to help them reach the targets on their EHCPs/IEPs
• Working full time - Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:45pm

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be working closely and collaboratively with a team of passionate staff to ensure every child's needs are met. This is a full time and ongoing position to last until the end of the academic year in July, with the chance for it to become permanent in the future too and career progression opportunities!
