Immediate start Teaching Assistant position - Gants Hill

Primary Teaching Assistant position available for an immediate start at this inclusive and supportive primary school in Gants Hill, East London

Located in the London Borough of Redbridge, this school is easily accessed thanks to local tube stations and bus stops, and there is parking available too.

Joining the support staff team in the school and working with children within the classroom across the key stages, your key responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant will include:

• Planning and delivering learning interventions to small groups or through 1:1 sessions
• Supporting children with SEND within the classroom, and where necessary on a 1:1 or 1:2 basis
• Encouraging development of vocabulary through speech, reading and writing activities
• Providing a supportive and positive learning environment where students can thrive personally and academically
• Assisting with the delivery of an exciting and balanced curriculum
• Helping children to develop their confidence and ensuring they feel valued within an inclusive learning environment

Working full time (Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:45pm) as a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with other passionate staff to ensure each child's needs are met.

This is a full time and ongoing position expected to last until the end of the academic year, with the chance for it to become permanent in the future too.
