New Addington: SEND Teaching Assistant needed now! 
   
A successful and inclusive primary school in New Addington, Croydon is currently looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join the support staff team, with an immediate start.

You will be joining a friendly and passionate team of staff within a supportive working environment, where everyone works collaboratively to build and provide a safe, encouraging and positive learning environment in which each child is supported and can thrive academically, personally and socially.  

Working full time as a SEND TA, you will:    

• Support children with SEND, within the classroom and in smaller groups/1:1 where necessary, ensuring they are able to access the full curriculum  
• Plan and deliver learning interventions to students 1:1 or in small groups, and monitoring their progress 
• Provide support for non-verbal children with Speech & Language activities  
• Work with key children who have EHCPs to support and help them reach the targets and objectives they have been set 
• Support children across EYFS, KS1 and KS2  
• Work Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:45pm    

As this is a long-term SEND Teaching Assistant position due to last until the end of the academic year in July, you will be able to see the progress and growth made by your key children across the entire school year. You will be an integral part of the school community, and there is the potential for this to become a permanent position in the future too.
   
Prior experience in a childcare setting would be preferred for this SEND Teaching Assistant position.
