LSA - Lambeth - Immediate Start
Learning Support Assistant role to start ASAP at a bright and inclusive primary school in Streatham, Lambeth.
Working full-time (Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:45pm) as a Learning Support Assistant, you will join a team of likeminded and hardworking support staff to work together to deliver the curriculum and make a difference to children's lives.
As an LSA you will:
- Support children with SEND, within the classroom and in smaller groups/1:1 where necessary, ensuring they are able to access the full curriculum and encouraging them to reach their full potential
- Provide support for non-verbal children with Speech and Language activities
- Ensure a supportive and positive atmosphere for learning where each child is able to thrive
- Deliver/assist with the delivery of learning interventions, monitoring the progress of children with SEND - both 1:1 and in small groups
- Support key children with EHCPs and/or IEPs to help them reach their targets and objectives
This is a long-term Learning Support Assistant position expected to last until the end of the academic year. As this is an ongoing role,
you will have the opportunity to see how your key children progress and their growth and development across the entire school year. You will feel rewarded and achieved seeing first-hand the impact your support has had. There is also the possibility for the role to become permanent in the future.
