Job Description

Early Years Teacher - January Start - London Nursery

A bright and welcoming nursery in London is now looking for an Early Years Teacher to join their friendly team in January 2025.

With a supportive senior team, staff rewards and recognition (such as bonuses paid throughout the year) and great opportunities for training and career development, this nursery is a great place for any Early Years Teacher to work. It is conveniently located near tube stations and bus stops, and staff parking is available too.

It is essential that you hold either QTS, EYTS, EYPS or a full and relevant Level 6 Early Years qualification for this Early Years Teacher position. Previous experience working within Early Years and a good understanding of EYFS is important.

As an Early Years Teacher you will:
  • Plan and lead lessons and activities that meet individual children's needs, in line with the EYFS framework
  • Assess and observe key children's progress and development, providing support for each child
  • Create and provide a safe and stimulating learning environment where every child is able to thrive and grow
  • Have a real passion for working with young children
  • Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide high standard early years education
  • Develop strong relationships with parents and colleagues
  • Encourage and praise children for their achievements and development
  • Be committed and dedicated to working in Early Years and children's wellbeing and development
Working as an Early Years Teacher is very rewarding - you are playing a big part in children's personal, social and emotional development in their most formative years, and you will leave every day knowing you're making a real difference.

This is a permanent and full-time Early Years Teacher position to work 40 hours a week (Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm typically but this can be flexible), with the salary starting at £14-£16 per hour.
