As an Early Years Practitioner you will have a direct impact on children's personal, social, emotional and academic development from a young age.

An inclusive and happy nursery in Wimbledon is currently on the hunt for a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join their friendly team from January 2025. Located in the borough of Merton, this nursery is easily accessed thanks to excellent transport links and staff parking.

As an Early Years Practitioner you will be supported by a caring management team who have created a positive and nurturing working environment, and a homely and stimulating environment for the children.

It is essential for the suitable Early Years Practitioner to hold at minimum a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare, and previous experience working with children under 5 within a nursery or childcare setting is preferred.

Working as an Early Years Practitioner, you will:      

• Collaborate with your team to provide high standard early years education
• Support and observe your key children and how they are developing
• Follow the EYFS curriculum to assist children with the development of early reading and early maths skills  
• Have knowledge of early childhood development and the Early Years framework
• Provide a safe, supportive, stimulating and language-rich environment for children 
• Plan, lead and assist with activities that stimulate children's minds, imagination and creativity

You will be working full-time Monday-Friday (8am-6pm) as an Early Years Practitioner, and this is a permanent role with a salary from £25k-27k per annum. Position is to start in January 2025.
