Nursery Practitioner role to start in January - Wandsworth, SW London
 
A welcoming nursery in Wandsworth is seeking a Nursery Practitioner who is dedicated to early years education to join their team of hardworking and friendly staff!

Previous experience working with children under 5 in a nursery or childcare setting would be ideal, and a Level 3 qualification minimum in Early Years or Childcare is essential for the suitable Nursery Practitioner. 
 
Working with young children as a Nursery Practitioner means you are play a key part in contributing to children's growth and development in their most formative years. It is important to be passionate about and have strong knowledge of EYFS

As a Nursery Practitioner, you are playing a key role in preparing young children for their future, and it is important to have a real passion for supporting their growth and development in their most formative years. Strong knowledge of EYFS and children's learning and development is desirable too.
 
 
Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Nursery Practitioner will include: 

  • Planning and leading play-based learning activities and exploration, following the Early Years curriculum
  • Assisting with early reading, vocabulary, literacy and communication development
  • Supporting children with their early maths skills development
  • Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed at all times
  • Providing a stimulating and safe learning environment where every child feels supported and is able to grow and learn

This Nursery Practitioner position is permanent and to work full time 40 hours a week (generally Monday-Friday 8am-6pm but this can be flexible).
