Learning Support Assistant position now available at a welcoming primary school in Muswell Hill, Haringey!   

Working as part of a team of committed support staff as an LSA, you will be: 

• Supporting children with SEND so they can reach their full potential and access the full curriculum 
• Leading/assisting with the delivery of different learning intervention programmes and monitoring the progress of children
• Providing support for children who need help with communication, language and literacy    
• Supporting key children to help them reach the targets on their EHCPs 
• Ensuring a safe, supportive and positive learning environment where each child is encouraged and able to thrive
• Supporting students with SEND on a 1:1 or 1:2 basis or in small groups where necessary 
• Liaising with and giving feedback to teaching staff and senior leaders 
• Providing support for non-verbal children with Speech and Language activities    
• Working full time: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:45pm   

 As this Learning Support Assistant role is long term and expected to last until the end of the academic year (July 2025), you will have the chance to watch your key children progress and develop across the school year, seeing first hand how your support and hard work has made a difference. There is also the possibility for the role to become permanent in the future for the suitable LSA.
