Job Description

Long-term full-time SEND Teaching Assistant position available to start immediately within a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Limehouse, Tower Hamlets.  
   
As a SEND TA, you will be supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities by leading small groups and 1:1 sessions, delivering learning interventions and monitoring the progress of key children. Other duties would include providing support for non-verbal children through suitable Speech and Language activities and supporting key children to reach targets on their EHCPs.

Joining a friendly and dedicated team of support staff at this primary school in Limehouse, you would be working collaboratively as a committed member of staff to deliver a diverse and exciting curriculum, ensuring every child is able to access it and to reach their full potential. As this is a long-term SEND Teaching Assistant role expected to last until the end of the school year in July 2025, you will be able to see the progress made by your key children across the year thanks to your hard work and support.
