You can start making a difference to children's lives by working as a Learning Support Assistant in a vibrant and diverse primary school in Shoreditch!  

Joining a team of committed support staff as an LSA, you will be:

• Supporting children with SEND to reach their full potential and access the full curriculum
• Assisting with the delivery of a number of intervention programmes, monitoring progress and providing feedback to teaching staff and senior leaders
• Supporting key children to help them reach the targets on their EHCPs
• Building a rapport with children and helping them to regulate their emotions 
• Supporting students with SEND on a 1:1 or 1:2 basis or in small groups where necessary
• Ensuring a safe, supportive and positive learning environment where each child is able to thrive and feels inspired and encouraged
• Providing support for children who need help with communication, language and literacy   
• Supporting non-verbal children with Speech and Language activities   
• Working Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:45pm  

This Learning Support Assistant role is full-time and ongoing, expected to last until the end of the academic year in July 2025, giving you the chance to see how your key children progress and develop over the entire school year. There is also the possibility for the role to become permanent in the future for the suitable LSA.
