Job Description

Learning Support Assistant role to start ASAP at a friendly and diverse primary school in Southwark.

This is your chance to make a real impact to children's lives, joining a team of likeminded support staff as a Learning Support Assistant.  

Working as an LSA, you will be: 

• Assisting with the delivery of interventions and monitoring the progress of children with SEND, both 1:1 and in small groups 
• Supporting non-verbal children with Speech and Language activities 
• Ensuring a safe, supportive and positive learning environment where each child is able to thrive 
• Supporting children with SEND to reach their full potential and access the full curriculum
• Building a rapport with children and helping them to regulate their emotions 
• Able to work Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:45pm 

 As this Learning Support Assistant position is long-term to last until the end of the academic year in July 2025, you will have the opportunity to see how your key children progress and the development they make across the school year, making it a very rewarding role. There is also the possibility for the role to become permanent in the future.
