Job Description

Immediate start full-time SEND Teaching Assistants roles across the key stages are currently available in a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Greenwich, South East London. 
 
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, one of your duties will be supporting children through 1:1 sessions and leading small groups, delivering learning interventions and monitoring children's progress with this, and giving feedback to teaching staff and senior leaders where necessary. You would also be providing support for non-verbal children with Speech and Language activities, supporting children where they need help with communication, language and literacy, and working with key children to reach the targets on their EHCPs.

Working as a SEND TA in a friendly school located within the Borough of Greenwich, you would be joining a committed team of staff who work collaboratively to ensure every child is able to access the whole curriculum and reach their full potential - personally, socially, emotionally and academically. 

This is a full time role (Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:45pm) to start ASAP and likely to last until the end of the academic year in July 2025 with the potential for it to become permanent in the future for the right SEND Teaching Assistant.
