Job Description

A friendly and inclusive primary school in Croydon is currently looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team to start ASAP.  

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be mostly leading and delivering interventions to small groups and 1:1, including:

• Lego therapy
• Read Write Inc
• Precision teaching
• Bucket time
• Sensory play
• Speech and Language

As you will be delivering interventions independently, preparing resources and evaluating outcomes, previous experience is essential to this role as a SEND Intervention Teaching Assistant. Some of your other day-to-day duties will include supporting children with SEND in an inclusive learning environment and ensuring they can access the full curriculum, and encouraging development of vocabulary through speech, reading and writing.
