Job Description

Immediate start full-time SEND Teaching Assistants positions across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 are available in a welcoming primary school in Tower Hamlets.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting children through 1:1 sessions and leading small groups, as well as assisting with the delivery of interventions and monitoring children's progress. Additionally, you would be providing support for children who need help with communication, language and literacy, and supporting non-verbal children with speech and language activities.

Working in an inclusive and friendly school located within the borough of Tower Hamlets, you would be joining a dedicated team of staff as a SEND TA. Staff in this school work collaboratively to ensure every child is able to access the whole curriculum and reach their full potential.

This is a full time role (Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:45pm) to start ASAP and likely to last until the end of the academic year in July 2025 with the potential for it to be permanent thereafter for the right SEND Teaching Assistant.
