Job Description

Early Years SEND Teaching Assistant role to start ASAP at a primary school in Shepherd's Bush which is dedicated to inspiring, challenging and nurturing every student.

Day-to-day as an EYFS SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be: 

Assisting with early reading and early maths skills development 
Supporting children with SEND 1:1 and in small groups
Working closely with the class teacher to plan and assess the impact of support and interventions
Supporting key children to reach the targets on their EHCP
Assisting with the delivery of interventions
Supporting children's personal, social and emotional development
Encouraging development through interactive play and exploration 
Supporting children with SEND in an inclusive environment
Supporting non-verbal children in with Speech and Language activities

Working full-time Monday-Friday (8:30am-3:45pm) as a SEND TA, you would be joining the EYFS team in this welcoming and diverse primary school where every child is given the opportunity to develop, grow and deepen their knowledge.

This EYFS SEND Teaching Assistant position is to start ASAP and to last until the end of the academic year in July 2025, with the possibility to become permanent beyond that. Apply now to be considered for interview and to make a difference in Shepherd's Bush!
