If yes, this SEN Teaching Assistant role in a welcoming primary school in Tower Hamlets is the right role for you.  

The suitable SEN Teaching Assistant will be:  

• Supporting children with SEN so that they can access the full curriculum. 
• Working 1:1 with children with ASD. 
• Helping children regulate their emotions and building rapport with them.  
• Supporting non-verbal children in with Speech and Language activities. 
• Able to work Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm 
• Assisting with the delivery of learning interventions

This is a highly rewarding job role and as you will be working long term until the end of the academic year in 2025, you’ll have the opportunity to be part of the school community and watch the progress you help your key children make. Positions are available across the key stages for this Primary SEN Teaching Assistant role.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting children who are non-verbal with ASD so prior experience would be essential. 

If successful, you’ll be working as a full time SEN Teaching Assistant until the end of the school year in July 2025 with the potential to go permanent thereafter, apply now to be considered for interview!
