Job Description

Ethos Education have a 11-19 mixed Academy school in Faversham looking for a QTS French & Spanish teacher for a HOD role. £5350 is offered as a TLR for a Head of MFL Department. You will need to be an experienced French / Spanish teacher, with the right to work in the UK & hold Qualified Teacher Status. 

This is a permanent MFL post - French & Spanish are offered from KS3, A Level French is currently taught & there are plans to offer A Level Spanish in the near future. The MFL team is well supported by resources, SLT with a keen interest in MFL & pupils who are keen to learn languages. 

Flexible start date, either September 24 or January 2025. 

The catchment area services the pretty little market town of Faversham, Kent. Rent is cheaper than the capital making this an attractive location for a MFL  teacher who enjoys green spaces and nature. Plus a hop, skip & jump from Kent transport hubs & London to mainland Europe.
