Ethos Education are interested to hear from any experienced History teachers keen for a new opportunity from January 2025. TLR2b offered as a Lead History teacher, teaching History GCSE & A Level. Politics is also popular in the Humanities department.

As an expereinced, ambitions History teacher - you will need a passion for leading other Humanites teachers, have a strong vision for the Department and keen to lead on enrichment within History. Delivering KS3 History lessons, Schemes of Work and increasing History GCSE option numbers. As a History teacher, you will be well supported by a welcoming community, staff and pupils, have the opportunity for CPD, work with other local Kent schools and share best practice. You will need to hold UK QTS as a History teacher.


11-16 mixed state Academy with excellent facilities located in Maidstone, Kent. Smaller than average school with less than 800 pupils and growing uptake in History. Maidstone offers a variety of schools, amenities, good transport links to London and the wider Kent area.
