You may be working in a pub / kitchen / bar & interested in getting into the classroom, this could be the direction for you & your career. Working as a Food Technology teacher involves getting children excited, interested and preparing healthy meals, understanding nutrition, shopping on a budget, safe food preparation and designing healthy school meals.

As a Food Technology teacher, you will be supported by a technician who helps you set up your kitchen and supports those pupils with SEND needs. The salary for a non qualified Food Technology teacher is £18,419-£28,735 and for a qualified QTS Food Technology teacher £30000-£46500.Part time Food Technology teachers are very welcome to apply.

You will be teaching Food Technology in Farnborough, Hampshire. Located close to Baskingstoke, Woking in Surrey and 40 mins on a direct train line into London. Set in lovely countryside & with many little pretty market towns to make your next home.
