Job Description

Ethos Education are supporting a coastal Essex school hire a History teacher. Starting September 2024 & permanent full time History teaching post. This role is open to History ECT's & also experienced History teachers. 

The school is located in Southend on Sea. This area has had a revival post Covid & holds some British charm as a seaside location. With train lines running frequently into London, any History teacher can visit a show on the weekend in the city. 1 hour by rain to London Liverpool Lime Street. 

You will need to be an inspiring History teacher, with any specialism - Ancient History, Modern History, World War, Civil War & sources + more. Excellent IT facilities will support your innovative lessons.  Edexcel GCSE exam board History. 

A willingness to be involved in extracurricular activities in key. You will be working as part of an improving school with a "good" overview and able to buy into the vision of the academy trust.
