English Teacher - Ilford Secondary School - Teacher of English

We are seeking a skilled and experienced temporary English Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching secondary English at KS3 and KS4 to students of different ages and abilities.

- English Teacher in Ilford Secondary School
- £177 - £236 per day
- Immediate Start or ASAP
- Permanent Contract Available

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that are tailored to the needs of individual students
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote learning and progress
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports students' confidence and self-esteem
- Evaluate and monitor students' progress, providing feedback and support as required
- Assess students' work and provide constructive feedback to help them improve
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure that the curriculum is consistent and relevant
- Keep up to date with developments in English teaching and learning, and incorporate new approaches and techniques as appropriate

Requirements:

- A degree in English or a related subject
- A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Experience teaching English to students of different ages and abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt
