Geography Teacher - Secondary School - Teacher of Geography

Job Summary:

We are looking for a temporary Geography Teacher to join our team for a fixed term period. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Geography to secondary school students and must be able to demonstrate excellent subject knowledge.

Responsibilities:

- Plan, prepare and deliver lessons that meet the needs of all students
- Assess and mark students' work and provide feedback
- Monitor and track students' progress and provide regular reports to parents and senior leaders
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure that the curriculum is delivered effectively
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of schemes of work and resources
- Ensure that the school's policies and procedures are followed

Requirements:

- A degree in Geography or a related subject
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS)
- Experience of teaching Geography to secondary school students
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching
- Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
- The ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential
