Science Teacher Job - Ilford - Teacher of Science

Job Description:

We are seeking a temporary Science Teacher to join our team in Ilford. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons in science to students of various ages and levels.

This is a temporary job, but exceptional candidates will be considered for a permanent position.

Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the school curriculum and policies
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Monitor and assess students' progress and provide feedback
- Ensure that health and safety standards are met in all laboratory activities
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
- Attend meetings and training sessions as required

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Science or related field
- Teaching qualification or experience (QTS preferred)
- Strong knowledge of the school curriculum and subject matter
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a classroom and maintain discipline
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of students and the school

Skills:

- Strong understanding of science concepts and principles
- Ability to deliver engaging and interactive lessons
- Good organizational and planning skills
- Experience in using technology in the classroom
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
