Ethos Education have an opportunity for a Year 10-Year 13 Maths teacher. 

Location: Reading, Berkshire

Contract Term: Permanent

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Mathematics teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the agreed scheme of work.
  • Inspire and enthuse students to develop a love for mathematics and a desire to learn.
  • Work closely with our collaborative team and senior leaders to organize specialist enrichments and employer trips.
  • Act as a tutor to a small group of students.
  • Integrate technology into everyday lessons.

  • Be a well-qualified teacher with a proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons.
  • Have in-depth knowledge and experience of the Mathematics curriculum.
  • Show evidence of supporting students to make progress beyond expected levels.
  • Forge positive relationships with students to foster a conducive learning environment.
  • Possess resilience, a strong personal drive, and a sense of humor.
  • Understand the transformative power of education, especially for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
