HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) – Days Tramping

About the role

We are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers on behalf of one of the UK's leading logistics operations, based in Warrington. We have Tramping on various shift patterns.

Pay - PAYE Including Holiday

• £19.12 p/h Monday to Friday
• £24.66 p/h Saturday
• £25.78 p/h Sunday

Hours

• Start times between 05:00 and 09:00
• Monday to Friday, Tuesday to Saturday or Wednesday to Sunday
• Tramping Work - typically 4 nights out per week

Duties

Monday to Friday Work is General Haulage and Shifts that include the weekends are Store Deliveries

• Driving a HGV Class 1 vehicle with curtain-sided or box trailers
• General Haulage - Making deliveries of palletised goods
• Store Deliveries to large retailers - unloading cages at the delivery point
• Strapping loads when required
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Carrying out daily walk-around vehicle checks

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• At least 6 months of Class 1 driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points (minor endorsements only)
